OSD has potentiometer on board which sets black level of letter frames and black background. This allows to change OSD appearance according to user preferences.

Note: When potentiometer is set at maximum clockwise position (maximum blackness of frame/background) in some cases it may impact video synchronization pulses  and make video unstable (flickering).
